Head-on crash kills one on Ortega Highway
The California Highway Patrol is reporting that a person has been killed in a head-on accident along the Ortega Highway between Lake Elsinore and San Juan Capistrano.
The accident was reported at around 7:10 pm this evening. According to entries on the CHP website, multiple callers were advising that a motorcycle and a Subaru collided head on. Officers went on scene at 7:40 pm and determined the exact location to be approximately 2 miles west of the Candy Store in El Cariso.
It is unknown if anyone else has been injured as a result of the accident and it's unknown if the person killed was on board of the motorcycle or an occupant of the Subaru. Traffic is reported to be backed up in the area. Further details about the collision will be posted if they become available.

Does anybody know the name of the motorcyclist? I think this was a friend of mine I've been out of contact with. Please post any new info. When might there be services? I'd like to pay my respects.
