Man arrested after police find Methamphetamine in Murrieta home

A man was arrested on Friday after police officers found a large quantity of Methamphetamine in his Murrieta home. According to Sgt. Jon Flavin with the Murrieta Police Department, the man, identified as 43 year old Norman M Lee of Murrieta, was the passenger of a vehicle that was pulled over in the area of Clinton Keith and McElwain Roads at around 3:00 pm.

Flavin says that officers conducted a search of Lee and his home after they learned that he was on probation for a previous controlled substance violation. While searching his home in the 35000 block of McElwain Road, officers found over 5 grams of Methamphetamine along with paraphernalia associated with drug sales. Police also discovered a large amount of cash at the location.

Flavin says Lee was arrested and charged with several drug related counts including possession of a controlled substance for sale. He was booked into the Southwest Detention Center.
