Two suspects killed after another shooting on Soboba Indian Reservation
A man and a woman have been killed after a gunfight with police on the Soboba Indian Reservation that lasted nearly one hour. This is the second officer involved shooting to take place on the reservation in less than a week.
According to a written statement issued by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, the incident began around 6:20 pm yesterday evening when two armed suspects began firing at security officers in a guard shack on the Soboba Reservation.
Sheriff's deputies as well as a sheriff's helicopter responded to the scene and came under fire as well. The release says that the helicopter was not hit by gunfire in the incident. As deputies engaged the suspects, a gun-fight resulted which lasted nearly one hour.
The suspects used assault rifles to fire at the helicopter and officers on the ground from a moving vehicle. Eventually, members from the Sheriff's Special Enforcement Bureau were able to shoot the suspects, killing them both.
Last Thursday, 26 year old Eli Morillo was killed by police gunfire after officers were reportedly shot at on the reservation. In that incident, at least two gunmen were seen and were armed with assault rifles. An AR-15 assault rifle was recovered from Morillo after the incident. The other suspect(s) were able to elude capture. It's unknown whether last night's gun battle was related to Thursday's incident.
According to the statement issued by the Sheriff's Department, nine deputies have been placed on paid administrative leave after last night's incident per department policy for discharging their firearms while on duty. An investigation is being conducted by the Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit.

I belive that the Revolution has begun slowly but it will gain momentum and then suddenly with force it will spill out like a flood. Soboba needs good vantage points and a good Scoped Gun with a good aims man. With that and several AR-15 engaged in Guerilla style warfare if they aim for success.

That's a real stupid statement. Hasn't your tribes mistakes taught you anything? Salgado chupo cusan. Remember that? You've always had a chip on your shoulder and for why? Peace... Calm down people and live. Hostility will get you nowhere but in the ground. God bless Jose, Tamara and Eli and their families. But also, god bless the police officers that are trying to enforce your laws and make your land safe. ANTU TU ANTU
